PROS & CONS

First soulburn is completely free

Plants bombs on her passive and detonates them with her s3

50% increase in ATK when skilled up

Dispels buffs on her s1

Buff dispel on s1 isn't guaranteed

Bombs don't go through effect resistance and are randomized

Kind of needs a team built around her instead of being immediately slotted in somewhere

Tier List Description

(Updated 9/9/21)

Now that we’ve had a few weeks to test her out, the consensus on Summertime Iseria is that she’s… difficult. She’s reliant on way too many things – being drafted in the right team, the not-100% chance to dispel buffs on her s1, basically needing Star of the Deep Sea at +30 to ensure that she can constantly lands bombs, the fact her bombs on her passive are randomized and rely on the Effectiveness/Resistance check… the list goes on and on.

Summertime Iseria is made for PVP, but relies pretty heavily on everything mentioned. She’s fine, but she’s not a game-breaking unit, although her free Soul Burn is pretty nice. Since she can’t deal any critical hits, her damage stats can go solely into her ATK. Bomb is a pretty interesting mechanic, but it does take a very specific team to set her up. When set up right, Summertime Iseria can really pop off, but if anything goes wrong, it can mean the death of your team.

Build Notes

Summertime Iseria is built somewhat similar to Inferno Khawazu – no reliance on Crit Rate% or Crit DMG% for her stats, instead SPD, ATK%, HP% and DEF%. The only difference is that she does need Effectiveness to work properly (vs Iwazu, who can use Eff% as a bonus stat). The stats you’d want to look for on Summertime Iseria is about:

  • 5,000+ ATK
  • 12,000 HP
  • 250 SPD
  • 1,200 DEF
  • 120%+ Effectiveness

The ATK stat may seem pretty high, but remember that her passive increases her ATK by 50% when fully skilled up.

Note: Star of the Deep Sea is pretty much the only artifact to use on Summertime Iseria, and must be leveled up to +30 in order to function properly.

RECOMMENDED ARTIFACTS

Extra Bombs
[LIMITED ARTIFACT] One of the most obvious choices for ST.Iseria, as it'll enable her to plant bombs on her s1. However, it must be skilled up to +30 in order to be truly effective.
Defense Break
[LIMITED ARTIFACT] Not as recommend as SotDS, but it can work on her if you don't have the first artifact. Her s1's single-target, and defense break could be what makes or breaks your team.
Combat Readiness + Souls
Surprisingly a pretty decent artifact on Summertime Iseria, as it meshes well with the "Suppress!" part of her passive. Observer is usable right out of the box, too, without NEEDING to be +30'd like Star of the Deep Sea.

SUMMERTIME ISERIA'S
SKILL ENHANCEMENTS

First things first, skill up her s2 all of the way for the extra ATK. It'll benefit her bomb damage greatly. After that, skill up her s1 at least to +4, for the extra buff dispel chance. Finally, her S3 gets skilled up to at least +3 for the -1 turn cooldown. Remember: though this is how you should prioritize her skillups at first, it's always recommended to +15 her in the end.

HERO BACKGROUND

Iseria is at Levulin beach for a summer vacation but she's finding it hard to unwind between Cermia, who keeps forgetting why she's supposed to be there and keeps trying to escape, and Alexa, who seems to have misjudged their relationship and is focused solely on keeping Cermia on her best behavior.
