[02/25] Seven Sweethearts, Bittersweet Dessert, and Lucy!

Overview

Hello, Epic 7 players! Today, we have a pretty big patch note for you all! The newest Valentine’s Day sidestory, Seven Sweethearts, will be available tomorrow. It’s actually pretty complicated, so I’d suggest reading the notes on how the sidestory works. However, I am getting visual novel vibes from this sidestory. (Anyone else get Sayori vibes from Lucy?) Lucy herself will also be playable as a 3 star unit who’s actually pretty decent! The last week of the Bittersweet Dessert Festival rerun will also be going, along with some new banners.

When many clubs in Reingar are discovered to be on the brink of collapse, the Student Council begins planning a festival during which all clubs can promote themselves. Many different departments and clubs join forces to hold the festival, and they all begin to enjoy the festival in their own way…

■ How to Enter

After reaching Account Rank 9, go to the Lobby and tap [Battle] > [Side Story].

■ 「 Seven Sweethearts ~Our First Spring~」 Information

[ Side Story Weekly Opening Schedule]

– The Side Story, Seven Sweethearts ~Our First Spring~ consists of eight rounds. For each week, certain rounds and routes will be available.

– Only one route can be played per round and unselected routes cannot be selected in an active round.

– Ending illustrations can be obtained by clearing each route.

ㄴ Good Ending: When you reach the good ending of a route for the first time, you will receive the illustration for that route. (Total of 7 illustrations).
ㄴ Bad Ending: Regardless of the route you take, the bad ending illustration is only obtained the first time you clear that particular route. (Total 1 Illustration)

(If you want to get all the illustrations, you will have to complete the routes of all the characters that will be unlocked each week.)

– If you clear one ending, you can move to a new round. From this, you can choose the route from the beginning and play it again. (You can also select the ending you’ve already seen one more time in order to see the other options that you missed.)

– Once players enter the first stage in a new round, the parameters will reset and players can’t enter the previous round’s stages.

– Players can receive all Main Rewards from the Side Story regardless of the route they select. Players can receive these rewards by completing and seeing the endings for the 7 routes or by playing the story of a specific Hero. (However, illustrations will only be obtained for endings that have been successfully cleared.)
– All illustrations obtained from the endings are registered in the Art Journal. Illustrations for unobtained endings cannot be registered in the Art Journal.

(There are only a limited number of rounds to choose each route, so please carefully decide which route to choose.)
– Even if you only completed two rounds, you can play the fourth round in the second week. However, when round 4 has been started, it’s impossible to play round three.

[ Week 1 Event Currency ]

※ Players may equip the event artifact during the event period for free.

■ Week 1 Stage Progress 

– Seven Sweethearts ~Our First Spring~ is a nonlinear special side story, where your choices in a stage will determine your progress for the following stages.

– Pearlhorizon’s route, which is open in Week 1 is a sub-route of Yuna’s story and will be available depending on your choices during Yuna’s story.
– The Judith route is a sub-route of Celine’s story and will be available depending on your choices during Celine’s story.

[Story Stage]

– Story Stages do not require Energy to enter and do not have any battles.

– Depending on which dialog you select, the following dialog will vary.

– Story Stages do not provide event currency.

[Parameters]

– Parameters are needed to see the end of the story.

– Each important option that determines an ending has different parameters that can be acquired, and in order to reach the end of the route you are currently playing, you must acquire parameters that correspond to that heroine. The parameters for each heroine can be found in the Hero’s Basic Information tab.

– Parameters can be acquired from “Parameter Stages” as well.

[Parameter Stages]

– Parameter Stages are available in the middle of the story. These stages allow you to acquire the necessary Parameters required to see an ending.
– Only one Parameter may be increased per stage.

– Players may select different stage difficulties after clearing easy once.

– Players may select a higher difficulty after successfully clearing the one before it.

– Players can gain more of a certain Parameter as the stage difficulty is increased.

[Regular Stages]

– Regular stages open along with [New Game] after clearing special ending in stages [Etc. Border Forest] and [Etc. Flashy Festival Ground].

– In these regular stages, parameters are not obtainable.

– Players may select different difficulty level after clearing easy once.

– Players may select a higher difficulty after successfully clearing the one before it.

[Start a New Game]

– Players can watch only one ending per round. There are Good and Bad Endings for each route.

– After watching the first ending, players can move to the following round to play through and view another ending. However, once you enter the next round, you are unable to access the previous round’s stages since it will have been reset.

– After starting a new game, all previous Parameters gained in the previous round will be reset.

– There are only a limited number of rounds available to play, so please make sure you carefully select which route you wish to take.

[Exchange]

– Players will be able to exchange the event currency, Club Festival Tickets for items in the Exchange.

– Players can obtain this currency by clearing battles in the Side Story.

– Players will be able to exchange event currency for items up to one week after the Side Story ends.

– Complete the necessary achievement in Reputations in order to receive this background pack

[Illustration]

– Players can view illustrations by going to Journal > Art Journal > Side Story and selecting the corresponding Side Story.

– For each good ending, the first time you clear that route, you will obtain the ending illustration for that particular route. (Total 7)

– Regardless of the route you take, the bad ending illustration is only obtained the first time you clear that particular route. (Total 1)

[ 2★ Monster Chocolate Slime ]
– This monster can be obtained in every battle stage in the Side Story, Seven Sweethearts – Our First Spring. Please note that this monster is an exclusive monster for this Side Story.

2. Special Side Story – Bittersweet Dessert Festival, Week 3

The sweet Side Story where the young Heroes from Cidonia and Perland meet at the Bittersweet Dessert Festival!

The third week of this Side Story, Bittersweet Dessert Festival starts now!

■ How to Enter

Players will need to clear [Peaceful Morning] in order to enter the week 2 stages.

 ■ Week 3 Information

– The third week of Bittersweet Dessert Festival will have the following routes available as well as 2 additional Albums.

1. Ains & Tamarinne

[ Event Currency – Week 3 ]

Icon	Description
	[Stolen Jewels] A variety of jewels stolen over time by Ains that he often sells to cover his living costs. He must have dropped them while enjoying the festival.

※ Players can collect different event currency each week.

※ Event currency is not available in story stages.

[Enhance Heroes]

[Enhanced Artifact] 

※ Players may equip the event artifact during the event period without any fee.

[Stage Difficulty]

– Players may select different stage difficulties after clearing easy once.

– Players may select a higher difficulty after successfully clearing the one before it.

[MolaGora Challenge]

– Players will be able to participate in the MolaGora challenge after clearing all stages in the third chapter of the side story Bittersweet Dessert Festival.

– Players will only be able to complete the MolaGora Challenge once during the event period.

■ Exchange

– The Exchange will be added so that players can exchange extra currencies earned for gold.

– Players will be able to exchange event currency for items up to one week after the Side Story ends.

3. Pavel & Dux Noctis Drop Rate Up!

In this Drop Rate Up event, meet the Earth elemental Ranger, Pavel, who is capable of attacking enemies after granting an increased Attack buff to himself. Players will also be able to obtain the Ranger exclusive Artifact, Dux Noctis which increases Attack of the caster when an ally makes a critical hit. This Artifact’s effect can stack.

4. Kayron & Alexa’s Basket Drop Rate Up

In this Drop Rate Up event, players will be able to meet Kayron, a Fire elemental Thief who is able to increase his survivability with Immortal Will and deal a great amount of damage to the enemy with an AoE attack. Players can also obtain the Thief exclusive Artifact, Alexa’s Basket, which has a set chance to significantly increase the caster’s attack.

5. Coin Shop Item List Renewal

The purchase limit for items in the Covenant and Galaxy Coin Shops will reset.

There will be a rotation of the Hero sold in each shop.

The Coin Shop resets on the first of every month at 03:00 UTC.

– The Boss Monster that appears in Black Shroud Forest will be changed from Ice elemental Hopeless Symaqus to Earth elemental Blooming Snag Lich.
