Good low-budget unit for damage dealing

Needs to go before enemy to guarantee perception

Low base attack (which does hamper her damage a bit)

S3 cooldown is kind of long

Tier List Description

(Written 7-20-22)

Orte is a pretty good unit! She’s not going to destroy any metas and shape it solely to counter her, mind you, but she’s got an interesting kit that can output some pretty nice damage (especially for a 3 star unit). Her main gimmick is the defense penetration on her s3, which scales higher and higher depending on her speed.

Her s3 is topped off really well by her passive. Basically, if she has perception after attacking, she will be able to trigger an extra attack with the same skill she just used – meaning that there is a very real chance of being able to trigger her s3 twice in a row. The only downfalls to her is that she needs to have the higher speed, and her base ATK is pretty low.

Overall, Orte is a pretty fun PvP unit, but she isn’t going to be a must-have unit or anything.

Build Notes

Orte needs to have Speed. There is no other four-set to use on her except for Speed, it’s just that simple. As for her two-set, there are people who have used Crit Rate or Immunity, but the best choice is, by far, Penetration. This way, even if she only gains 30% Penetration, that’s still an extra 15% added to that base 30%.

Generally, you’ll want your Orte to look like this:

  • 290+ Speed (300+ is ideal)
  • 3,000+ ATK
  • 85%+ Crit Rate (though 100% would be ideal)
  • 250%+ Crit DMG

RECOMMENDED ARTIFACTS

Even More Damage
[LIMITED ARTIFACT] Widely considered to be the "Daydream Joker" of PvP artifacts, Portrait of the Saviors is by far the best choice for Orte. Exorcist's Tonfa works in a pinch if you don't have it, though.
More Hit Chance + DMG
[Acquired in Guild Wars] As one of the best Guild artifacts, A Symbol of Unity will always be great on damage dealer units. Orte is no different; it won't make her overloaded, but it is nice to have.
Extra Turns
This one can mesh well with her passive, which grants her an extra attack if she has Perception granted. Plus, R&L is generally considered one of the best Thief artifacts.
Budget R&L
See "Rhianna & Luciella," though do note that Dust Devil only procs on her s1.

ORTE'S
SKILL ENHANCEMENTS

Definitely max her S2 first, for the -1 turn cooldown. After that, you'll want to at least skill up her s3 to +4, if not fully max it out for all the extra damage. S1 skillups aren't necessary, but it can be a nice perk to have extra damage.

HERO BACKGROUND

A Morai girl who trained to become a guard after having been rescued by Arunka as a child. Orte shows extreme loyalty toward Arunka and tends to force others around her to share in her fealty. Though she is exceptionally talented in swordsmanship, she lacks other skills, which leads her to cause many troubles.
