[4/14 Update] ML Summons Update and Hero Balance + Senya Banner

The balance patch is here! I will be updating the balanced heroes and remove old descriptions. We are getting chapter 4.5S and also the updated summon banner!!! I am sure people are excited about pulling more ML heroes!

1. Hero Balance Adjustments

Certain Heroes will have a balance adjustment applied! Create new strategies with these Heroes!

※ The probability, turns, and Cooldown values are based on the maximum skill enhancement available.

※ Skills without changes specified are the same as before.

■ 5★ Silver Blade Aramintha (Light, Mage)

– The effect for Flame Friction will be changed.

– Flame Release will be changed to Flame of Savara.

– The effect for Meteor Fall will be changed.

■ 5★ Dark Corvus (Dark, Warrior)

– The effect for Shield Bash will be changed.

– The effect for Devil’s Descent will be changed and damage dealt increased.

■ 5★ Diene (Ice, Soul Weaver)

– The effect for Blessings of the Goddess will be changed.

■ 5★ Aramintha (Fire, Mage)

– The skill effect and skill enhance effect for Ignite will be changed.

– The effect for Catalyst will be changed and its cooldown increased by 1 turn.

– The effect for Fire Pillar will be changed.

■ 5★ Ludwig (Earth, Mage)

– The effect for Moonlight Blow will be changed and a Soulburn effect added.

– The effect for Call of the Full Moon will be changed and damage dealt increased.

– The soulburn effect will be removed.

– The Exclusive Equipment option 1 effect for Moonlight Blow will be changed.

■ 5★ Destina (Earth, Soul Weaver) 

– The effect for Key to an Oath will be changed.

– The effect for Regen will be changed and healing decreased.

– Cooldown and Soul acquisition will both be decreased by 1.

– The effect for Destina’s Grace will be changed and healing decreased.

The Exclusive Equipment option 3 effect for Destina’s Grace will be removed, and that for Regen will be changed.

■ 4★ Guider Aither (Earth, Mage) 

– The effect for Spirit’s Protection will be changed and Barrier strength decreased.

– The skill effect and Skill Enhance effect for Wave of Force will be changed and damage increased.

– Soulburn effect will be changed.

– The Exclusive Equipment option 1 effect for Spirit’s Protection will be changed.

■ 4★ Coli (Ice, Thief)

– The Imprint Concentration effect will be changed from +1.4%~4.9% Dual Attack Chance to +4%~14% Attack.

– The effect of Ambush will be changed and a Soulburn effect will be added.

– The effect for Accurate Strike will be changed and damage decreased.

– The effect for Baptism of Fire will be changed and damage dealt decreased.

– The Soulburn effect will be removed.

■ 4★ Armin (Earth, Knight)

– The effect for Takedown will be changed.

– The skill Flash of Light will be changed to the passive skill, Protect.

– The skill effect and Soulburn effect for Shield Wall will be changed, and cooldown will be reduced by 1 turn.

– Barrier strength will be decreased.

– The Exclusive Equipment option 1 effect for Takedown will be changed.

– The Exclusive Equipment option 3 effect for Shield Wall will be changed.

2.  Effect Change Temporarily Available for Exclusive Equipment Balance Adjustments

Effects can be changed for a set period as adjustments will be made to the Exclusive Equipment of some Heroes. Players can change the effects only once.

■ Notes for Exclusive Equipment Effect Change

– The main effect value will not be changed.

– Players can change the effect of the eligible Exclusive Equipment only once.

– When a player changes the effects, the changes cannot be reversed.

– When a player changes the effects, the Equipment will be unequipped automatically.

– Equipment obtained after adjustments are made will not be eligible for this effect change.

3. Moonlight Summon System Revamp

After your 20th Moonlight summon, you can summon a free guaranteed 4-5★ Hero.

■ Moonlight Summon System Revamp

[Display]

– When entering Summon > Moonlight Summon, information on the summons left till a guaranteed 4-5★ Moonlight Hero is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.

– When an Upgraded Summon is possible, the Summon button will change to Upgraded Summon.

[Currency]

– Free

– Upgraded Summon will not consume Galaxy Bookmarks.

[Details]

– You will be able to perform a 4-5★ Moonlight Hero summon for every 20 Moonlight Summons.

– The Heroes available for the Upgraded Summon will be the same 4★~5★ that are available in normal Moonlight Summon.

– 3★ Moonlight Heroes will not be included.

– If you proceed with a general moonlight summon, even if you obtain a 4★ or 5★ moonlight hero from the summon, the number of summons till a guaranteed 4-5★ moonlight hero will not reset.

– Even if the summoning target of normal Moonlight Summon is renewed,  the summon count for a guaranteed 4-5★ Moonlight Hero and summoning opportunity will not be reset.

– After the 4/14 (Thu) maintenance, the remaining number of Moonlight Summons after retroactive application will be reflected in the summon count for a guaranteed Moonlight summon. (Refer to the retroactive application guide)

[Help]

– [Help > Summon > Moonlight Summon] will be updated with updated screenshots and explanation.

[Drop Rate Information]

– Tapping the ‘Drop Rate’ button while in Upgraded Moonlight Summon mode will show you the Heroes available when Upgraded Moonlight Summon is active.

■ 4-5★ Moonlight Summon Ticket Refund

Following the Moonlight Summon System Revamp, Heirs will be refunded retroactively with 4-5★ Moonlight Summon Tickets according to the number of Moonlight Summons done up until before the update.

1. Period: Server Launch ~ 04/14 (Thu) 02:59 UTC

2. Target: All Heirs that have used Moonlight summon during the above period.

3. Details: 4-5★ Moonlight Summon Ticket x1 for every 20 Moonlight Summons.

※ Please Note

– 4-5★ Moonlight Summon Ticket will be sent to the mailbox following the completion of 4/14 (Thu) maintenance. (Does not expire)

– Upon accepting the 4-5★ Moonlight Summon Tickets in your mailbox, they will be sent to Inventory > Other > Consumable.  

– These 4-5★ Moonlight Summon Tickets can be used to summon Moonlight Heroes available in the game before 4/14 (Thu).

※ There will be a 7 Day Check-In Event to celebrate the Moonlight Summon System Revamp after the 4/14 (Thu) maintenance. Detailed information can be found in [Moonlight Summon Revamp Check-In Event].

4. Episode 4, Chapter 5S – Safe Haven Origin

Ran, remains on Shadow Mountain after seeing Ras and Adin off. He learns that the Shift Bell used by Zahhak was manufactured in Khan and works through the power of the pilgrims. However, as all the pilgrims who lived in Khan were executed, he suspects that there was someone in their home, Safe Haven Origin, who was collaborating with the Hand of Revolution. Upon his arrival, Ran recalls memories of the past…

[How to Enter]

– Complete Episode 4 Chapter 5 Stage 5-S3. Memory Tree

[Map Layout]

– Chapter 5s, Safe Haven Origin, consists of 11 optional stages.

[Quests]

– Chapter 5S, Safe Haven Origin, has no quests to complete.

■ Safe Haven Origin – AP Exchange

– Clearing stages in Safe Haven Origin will grant the player AP which can be used in this area’s AP Exchange.

[How to Open]

Clear 5S-8. Reunion Cavern

[How to Use]

– Players can receive AP in Safe Haven Origin and exchange their AP for items in the AP Exchange.

– There is a limit to the number of times players can purchase items in the Exchange Shop.

■ Awakened Adin

– Completing stage 5S-8. Reunion Cavern in Safe Haven Origin will unlock missions for Awakened Adin in Chapter 5S.

– Clearing all missions in Chapter 5S will award players with Adin’s Secret Scroll.

■ Story Journal

– Chapter 5S, To the Promised Land will be added to Story Journal > Episode 4.

5. Senya & Spear of a New Dawn Drop Rate Up!

In this Drop Rate Up, meet the Earth elemental Knight Senya, who can inflict more damage to her enemies based on her Attack thus inflicting constant damage and debuffs. Players can also obtain the Knight exclusive Artifact, Spear of a New Dawn, which inflicts additional damage proportional to the caster’s Attack.

6. 2★ Shadow Spirit Hero Recall

An error occurred with the stats of the three 2★ Shadow Spirits introduced in the 3/31 update.

The 2★ Soul Weavers Frost Shard, Wind Shard, Dark Shard mistakenly had the stats of Aries Soul Weaver applied to them instead of Sagittarius Soul Weaver. This error was fixed with the 4/4 (Mon) patch.

As a result, the three Heroes will be available for Recall. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this error.

■ Hero Recall

[Recall Conditions]

Heroes at Lv 50 or above obtained before the recall period (Only a single recall is possible)

[How to Recall]

1. Open the Hero Details window and tap the Recall button.

2. The materials you will be given if you proceed with the recall will be displayed. Tap [Recall] to proceed with recall.

3. Select [Recall] in both the first and second confirmation windows to proceed with the recall.

– Once the recall has been applied it cannot be reversed.

[Materials Returned After Recalling]

1. Level

– Penguins and Gold return will be determined based on the current level and EXP of the Hero.

– Hero EXP will be rounded up and exchanged with Newbie Penguins and Experienced Penguins.

2. Grade

– Potion of Ascension or Phantasma and Gold will be issued according to the Hero’s current grade at the time of Recall.

– Phantasmas will be provided when recalling a 5★ Hero, and Potion of Ascension will be provided when recalling a 6★ Hero.

– The Phantasmas that are provided via recall will be one grade higher than their natural Grade.  (Mega-Phantasma: 3★, Giga-Phantasma: 4★)

※ In the case that any 5★ Heroes were used as promotion material for the three Shadow spirit Heroes, please contact Epic Seven Customer Service before using the refunded Potion of Ascension.

– Heroes used as promotion material will be returned after recovering the Potion of Ascension.

– Heroes used as promotion material will be returned with their Grade/Level/Skill Enhance/Memory Imprint/Awakening information maintained in the state they were before being used as promotion material.

– 5★ Heroes used as promotion material will be returned.

3. Awakening

– Runes and Catalysts will be reissued equal to the amounts used for Awakening.

4. Skill Enhancement

– All Catalysts and Gold will be reissued according to the amounts used for Skill Enhancement as listed in-game.

5. Friendship

– The Friendship level of the 2★ Frost Shard, 2★ Wind Shard, 2★ Dark Shard will not reset upon being recalled.

※ Once the recall has been applied it cannot be reversed. Please be fully aware of the outcome of the recall before proceeding.

※ The schedule above is subject to change, and if the schedule is changed, we will notify you through a notice.

※ Please remove the Hero from your Expedition team if you get a related instructional message and try to Recall again.

7. Other Improvements and Adjustments

■ Title Screen

– When starting the game, the title screen for Episodes 1 to 3 will be changed to each episode’s PV.

– Title screen will change in accordance with the story progress in Adventure.

■ High-Quality Media Pack

– Devices not using the Low-Quality Mode will have the High-Quality Media Pack set as default.

– This can be changed at any point through the in-game settings.

■ Hero and Artifact

– The damage dealt by 5★ Hero Tamarinne’s skill Serene Tune and 4★ Hero Auxiliary Lots’s skill Desolation will now match the damage dealt when using Soulburn.

– The AI of 3★ Hero Doris and her Specialty Change Magic Scholar Doris will be changed to use Celebration of Light when all allies have 100% Health.

– An intermittent issue where 5★ Ruele of Light, 5★ Destina, 4★ Shooting Star Achates, and 4★ Achates would sometimes not use healing skills when allies had low Health during auto-battle will be fixed.

– An issue where 4★ Maya would sometimes not use the Concuss skill during auto-battle will be fixed.

– An issue where the bleeding effect of the 5★ Artifact Torn Sleeve took effect prior to another effect, will be fixed.

■ Adventure and Story

– Adjustments will be made to certain animations in Episode 4 Chapter 2.

– Certain typos in Episode 4 Chapter 5 will be fixed.

■ Battle

– An issue in Adventure and Automaton Tower where 4★ Khawana and 5★ Briar Witch Iseria, and Automaton Tower defiance devices would not stack additional damage in certain situations will be fixed.

– An issue where when Combat Readiness is 100% for certain heroes, they did not follow their turn order as shown on the battle status board will be fixed.

■ World Arena

An issue in World Arena where the Battle Report would show the image of the 5★ Hero, Vildred after both participants selected the same Hero for Pre-ban in Challenger or lower, will be fixed.

■ MolaGora Seed Reward Change

– Prior to the Sanctuary > Forest of Souls revamp on 4/28 (Thu), all MolaGora Seed rewards will be changed to MolaGora.

– All MolaGora Seeds given as in-game rewards for events etc. outside of these will be changed to MolaGora.

– During the 4/28 (Thu) maintenance, all MolaGora Seeds will be changed into MolaGora.

ㄴ Includes MolaGora Seeds in the Forest of Souls that are currently growing or yet to be received after completing growing.

■ Other

– The typo in the description for Option 3 of Watcher Schuri’s Exclusive Equipment, The Watcher’s Monocle, will be fixed.

– The category names in Help will be improved to make them more intuitive, and some items will be repositioned.

– Some duplicates in Help will be deleted, and new content will be added to match the latest game information.

– When setting up a background pack on the Hero screen and Hero full view screen, a description is added to make it clear which part of the selected background will be shown.

– When you press the Synthesize button in Pet House > Pet on a Pet that is locked, a pop-up window will appear without moving to the Synthesize screen.

– An issue where, when you leave the chat window open during repeat battling, the window was closed upon the start of the following battle, will be fixed.

– If opening the chat window with a keyboard without reaching Account Rank 10, the keyboard input window will not be displayed.

– After making a hero SSS when the player goes back to the hero screen, the buttons at the top for inventory, mailbox, and quick menu were displayed as inactive. This issue will be fixed.

– On iOS devices, the chat window will pop up when pressing the Enter key on Bluetooth keyboards.

8. Advent Side Story Preview – Nature’s Decline and Decay 

※ Players will be able to see the monster’s skill information that appears in the Advent Side Story, Nature’s Decline and Decay, during the preview period.
