Alexa finally gets her specialty change! All Alexa lovers will rejoice. Also, the much awaited exclusive equipment of Cidd, Aramintha and Baal is here. The 3rd Hack option is really good to have for Cidd, so do try to get it if you use Cidd in PvP often.

1. Special Side Story, The Order of The Sword and The Lord of Summer – Week 2
The port city of Levulin faces a crisis due to a sudden attack on the beach!
While Charles and Corvus command the Levulin Guards and build defenses, Iseria, Cermia, and Alexa of the Order of The Sword explore the unidentified Spider Fortress.
But, unexpected chaos unfolds before them…
The second week of the special side story, The Order of the Sword and the Lord of Summer, begins.

[Enhanced Artifacts]
■ Week 2 Stage Information
– In Chapter 2 of the Special Side Story, The Order of the Sword and the Lord of Summer, regular battle stages, Story Stages, and stages with various difficulty levels will be available.
In addition, a Supply Stage, Goblin’s Den, and MolaGora Habitat will be available.
– Week 2 consists of a total of 14 stages. Players can unlock the next stage by completing the one prior.
[Story Stages]
– Story Stages do not require Energy to enter and do not have any battles.
– Story Stages do not provide Event currency.
[Stage Difficulty]
– In Chapter 2 of the Special Side Story, The Order of the Sword and the Lord of Summer, players can challenge multi-difficulty stages.
– Players may select a higher difficulty after successfully clearing the one before it.
– Stage difficulties consist of 5 rounds and players can receive rewards only after clearing the 1st, 3rd, and 5th stages.
-When clearing associated Supply stages, the recommended CP on difficulty stages will be reduced as rounds that don’t provide rewards are removed.
ex. When you clear N-1. North Hatchery 1 and N-2. North Hatchery 2, rounds 2 and 4 of 4. Fortress Conference Room will be removed, and the recommended CP will be reduced.
– If a Supply Support Monster appears in a battle round where no reward is received and the adjacent Supply Stage is not cleared, the corresponding Supply Stage name and monster supply guidance text will be displayed.
– [Hell Level] Difficulty can only be cleared 5 times during the period.
– If the stage difficulty consists of 5 rounds, the Goblin Gate will not appear.
[Supply Stage]
– In Chapter 2 of the Special Side Story, The Order of the Sword and the Lord of Summer, players can play the following 4 Supply stages: N-1. North Hatchery 1, N-2. North Hatchery 2, S-1. South Hatchery 1, S-2. South Hatchery 2.
– When Supply stages are cleared, stages with difficulty levels associated with the supply stages will have their rounds reduced,
and the recommended CP will also be reduced.
– Players will only be able to clear Supply stages once.
[Goblin’s Den]
– Completing stage 4. Fortress Conference Room in Chapter 2 in the Side Story, The Order of the Sword and the Lord of Summer will unlock S. Goblin’s Den.
– Players can complete S. Goblin’s Den in Chapter 2 once during the Side Story period.
[MolaGora Habitat]
– Completing stage 6. Fortress Operations Room in Chapter 2 in the Side Story, The Order of The Sword and the Lord of Summer, will unlock S. MolaGora Habitat.
– Players can complete S. Molagora Habitat in Chapter 2 once during the Side Story period.
■ Exchange
– Win battles in the Side Story and obtain event currency that can be exchanged for items.
– Event currency will be deleted once the exchange period expires. (7 days following the end of the Side Story)
2. Specialty Change, Summer’s Disciple Alexa
The 3★ Hero Alexa will be able to undergo a Specialty Change into Summer’s Disciple Alexa.
Once you complete the Specialty Change, the Hero will receive a new illustration, an improved skill, and a new skill animation.
Also, their skills and stats can be enhanced further via the Skill Tree.

■ How to Unlock the Specialty Change Quest
– Complete 10-10. Shrieking Hall in Episode 1
– Reach Lv. 30 with Alexa
– Acquire the illustration reward from clearing theSpecial Side Story, The Order of the Sword and the Lord of Summer
■ How to Access
– From the Lobby, go to the Hero menu > Specialty Change > Alexa > Start Specialty Change Quest
– Complete three Specialty Change Quests and a Trial Battle.
– After completing a Specialty Change, the Hero’s appearance and skills will change, and the Hero cannot be reverted to their previous state.
■ Skill Tree
– Heroes that go through a Specialty Change can be enhanced further via the Skill Tree.
– Runes can be enhanced in the Skill Tree. Doing so will consume elemental Runes.
[Rune Enhancement]
The following rune effects are based on their max enhanced values.
* Courage Rune – Increases Attack by 10%.
* Health Rune – Increases Health by 15%.
* Obscurity Rune – Increases Critical Hit Damage by 5%.
* Fruition Rune – Increases Attack of all allies by 3%.
* Speed Rune – When using Fell, increases Combat Readiness of the caster by 10%.
* Earth Rune – When using Cold Edge, increases damage dealt by 10%.
* Mineral Rune – When attacked, if the attacker has a debuff, decreases damage suffered by 20%. When more than one damage reduction effect is granted, only the strongest effect is applied.
* Wedge Rune – When using Glistening Summer Spike, increases damage dealt by 5% of the target’s max Health.
* Harvest Rune – When using Cold Edge, increases Combat Readiness by an additional 20%.
* Achievement Rune – When using Glistening Summer Spike, a critical hit has a 100% chance to decrease cooldown of this skill by 1 turn.
3. Three New Exclusive Equipment
New Exclusive Equipment for the 5★ Heroes, Baal & Sezan and Aramintha, and the 4★ Hero, Cidd, will be added to the Hall of Trials Exchange.
Players can obtain Exclusive Equipment from the Hall of Trials Exchange using Wisdom’s Gaze.
Exclusive Equipment stats and skill effects will be applied randomly when the equipment has been purchased.

■ Cost
The Exclusive Equipment of the 5★ Heroes, Diene, and Zahhak, and the 4★ Hero, Inferno Khawazu, will be added to the Alchemist’s Steeple.
4. Tenebria & Crimson Moon of Nightmares Drop Rate Up!
In this Drop Rate Up event, meet the Fire elemental Mage, Tenebria, who is capable of inflicting powerful debuffs, and Crimson Moon of Nightmares, a Mage-exclusive Artifact that can increase Dual Attack chance.

5. Other Improvements and Adjustments
■ Shop
– The number of Ego Fragments available weekly in [Shop > Transmit Stone] will be changed from 1 to 2.
■ Heroes and Artifacts
– An issue where 3★ Hero Ains’ skill Gesh did not match its skill description will be adjusted to match its actual effect. No functional changes have been made.
– An issue, where 3★ Hero Church of Ilryos Axe’s skill Disconnect from Win a Trial Battle mission in his Specialty Change quest did not match its skill description and function, will be adjusted to match its actual effect.
– An issue, when 3★ Specialty Change Hero Mascot Hazel used her skill, A Girl in Uniform, it displayed both increased Attack and increased Attack (Greater) for Fire Elemental allies, will be fixed.
– Skill descriptions for 3★ Hero Alexa’s skills, Fell and Cold Edge, will be improved for consistency. No functional changes have been made.
– Visual improvements have been made so it is clear how many targets are hit when 3★ Hero Alexa uses her first and second skill. No functional changes have been made.
– An issue, when 4★ Hero Mercedes equipped her skin, Fluffy Lady, the [Equip] button was changed to [Purchase] and players were unable to equip the skin, will be fixed.
– An issue, when 5★ Heroes, Zahhak and Tywin, 4★ Hero Blaze Dingo, and 4★ Hero Rose when equipped with her Exclusive Equipment – Option 2, caused buff texts to be displayed twice when used on the caster, will be fixed.
– An issue where Dual Attacks from 5★ Hero Sez, and 3★ Heroes Sven and Alexa did not trigger from 4★ Artifact Dust Devil, Single Attack Enhancement Device (Thief), and Basic Attack Rapid Fire Device (Thief) in Automaton Tower, will be fixed.
– An issue, when 5★ Hero Rimuru is inflicted with seal and his skill Devour It, Black Flame! has its Soulburn activated, parts of his passive would ignore the effects of the seal debuff, will be fixed.
– An issue, where one of 5★ Hero Desert Jewel Basar’s voice lines was mislabeled as ‘Soulburn’ in [Details > Expressions & Voices > Voice Lines > Skill] when it should have been labeled as ‘Skill 3’, will be fixed.
– An issue where the Hero Rating screen in Connection displayed unnecessary blank space on the left side will be fixed.
– An intermittent issue where, when the Rep Hero’s Health was restored, the text ‘Main’ was displayed on the Rep Hero’s face icon will be fixed.
– An improvement will be made to change Debuff Immunity to Immunity for all related descriptions in-game.
– Consistency edits have been made for effect descriptions of Heroes, Artifacts, and Monsters in texts that involved inflicting a single instance of a random buff, random debuff, bleeding, burn, poison, and bomb. Instead of saying “one random buff”, it has been changed to “a random buff.” No functional changes will be made.
■ Adventure and Story
– Adjustments will be made to match the enemies displayed on the battle preparation screen with the actual battle in Episode 1, Chapter 2-S2. Greenstone Valley. No functional changes have been made.
– Adjustments will be made to match the story background and the battle background in Episode 1, Chapter 2S-S2. Vagabond’s Refuge. No functional changes have been made.
– Typos in the story title of Episode 4, Chapter 7-5. Plain of Loathing will be fixed.
– Typos in the story of Episode 4, Chapter 7-S4. Misty Forest will be fixed.
– An issue where when upon entering the stage by tapping [Adventure > Select Episode > ‘Go’ button] and selecting any episode after going back to [Select Episode] and tapping the shaded [Go] button, this lets players control the background part of the stage while it displayed [Select Episode] UI, will be fixed.
– An intermittent issue where the Quest progress of the rerun side story preview was increased will be fixed.
– An issue where after toggling [Quick Menu > Option/Journal] or [Mail] while the player’s character is moving from one map to another on either Adventure or Side Story content, and toggling it again in the battle preparation screen before going back to the previous screen by tapping [<] button, caused the pop-up UI to be immovable and unable to closed, will be fixed.
■ Battle
– An issue where the [-1] & [+1] did not function properly for the ‘Repeat Battling Limit’ when accessed via [Pet > Option] on the battle preparation screen will be fixed.
■ Hall of Trials
– An issue where clicking on the boss’s icon after finishing the battle and restarting did not show the score information will be fixed.
■ Automaton Tower
– An issue when the Basic Skill Activation Device is activated and the target enemy is defeated, it caused the Basic Skill to be triggered on the location of the dead enemy, or does not grant an extra attack will be fixed.
■ Labyrinth
– An issue where the [<] button was not displaying on the top-left corner of the screen after tapping a Hero when Camping in the Labyrinth will be fixed.
■ Abyss
– An issue where the text ‘continuous healing’ was not highlighted in the skill descriptions of the boss character Apocalypse Ravi’s skills on the 100th floor before her skills were enhanced will be fixed.
– An issue where the boss character Vivian on the 117th floor, when in the state of her unique effect, lightning mana, did not dispel the effect properly even after her unique effect should have been dispelled at the end of the turn after acquiring 1 lightning mana due to using a non-attack skill will be fixed.
■ Arena
– An issue where, when a unit that dies by Protector’s Punishment right after the immortality effect of 4★ Hero Sinful Angelica’s skill Dark Salvation ends, they could not revive due to an unintended lingering Cannot Revive effect, will be fixed.
– An issue where, when tapping on the ‘Win Rate Log’ in [Arena > Arena Info] multiple times in succession, the text on the screen would get brighter, will be fixed.
■ Guild
– An issue where images of UI before the improvements were displayed in the first tutorial in-game will be fixed.
– An issue where, in [Guild War > Season Log], the pop-up UI of the opponent’s log did not close and the background moved to the previous screen when the player pressed the ‘back’ button on the device will be fixed.
– An issue where when receiving Gold from the Inbox after entering the ‘Donation’ tab of the Guild menu, and the player did not have enough Gold to donate beforehand, the [Donate] button would remain darkened even after receiving sufficient Gold, will be fixed
[Donation Improvement]
– Improvements will be made to not exceed the maximum quantity the players possess when tapping the [Max] button.
– Improvements will be made to automatically set the maximum quantity the players can donate when they enter the donation screen.
■ Other
– An issue, where the red dot notifications were continuously displayed on the icons [Pet] and [Arena] in [Lobby > Quick Menu, in the upper right corner] even after having checked the content, will be fixed.
– An issue, when a recoverable Hero is present among the Heroes pinned to the Lobby and repeated changes were made to the pinned team, this caused the recoverable Hero’s Health to be displayed as fully recovered, will be fixed.
– An issue that caused Epic Seven to occasionally disconnect from the game when accessed on iOS devices will be fixed.
ㄴWe sincerely apologize to any Heirs that have been experiencing this issue and will send out a compensation reward that will be listed in more detail on the ‘7/7 (Thu) Maintenance Notice (Completed)’ announcement.
– An issue where, after purchasing the [Epic Pass > Premium Epic Pass], if the player purchased the [Special Epic Pass] right after without confirming the unlocked content pop-up, an error screen would appear when confirming the second unlocked content pop-up, will be fixed.
– An issue where there was no audio during the tutorial for players that downloaded the game for the first time and joined via a Guest Account will be fixed
