Conqueror Lilias Review – Vigor for Everyone!

Conqueror Lilias Review – Vigor for Everyone!

We’ve all seen her being used in RTA, Arena and Guild Wars. She’s been dominating the PvP scene ever since her release, and it looks like she’s not going to stop for a very long time. That’s right; we’re talking about Conqueror Lilias.

I know, I know; she’s probably already been done to death before, how could you not use her, and so on and so forth. However, I finally got my own Conqueror Lilias, and I’ve been having a blast with her so far. With that, I decided to take a closer look at her skillset and talk a little more about my experiences with her.

Let’s begin!

Introduction

“After purging all members of the incompetent family and becoming the head of the household, she subjugates the forces in South Perland and revolts. Then, using Violet, she easily overturns the whole nation and ascends to the throne. Eventually, her ambition grows to an extent that she cannot be satisfied with Perland alone, so she begins to aim for other regions in Cidonia.”

In a nutshell, her skillset is:

  • S1: Attacks an enemy, triggering a Dual attack for a random ally.
  • S2: Decreases a chosen enemy’s Combat Readiness by 25%, with a 70% chance (100% when fully skilled up) to inflict redirected provoke for 1 turn. After that, she grants herself and the ally with the highest Max HP after her a barrier for 2 turns; her barrier is proportionate to her own Max HP. (Reusable in 3 turns)
  • S3: Grants vigor to all her allies for 2 turns, while decreasing buff durations on her enemies by 1 turn, with up to a 100% chance to decrease their ATK for 2 turns. After that, she grants herself an extra turn. (Reusable in 5 turns)

Analysis

Yeah, she’s broken. No way around it; she has such a strong and overloaded kit, Conqueror Lilias is pretty much a must-have for anyone who wants to break into PVP. She is able to perfectly set up almost every unit that you can think of, and Vigor is always a good buff to have.

In case you don’t know, Vigor is an undispellable buff that increases the wearer’s attack and defense by 30%. I’m sure you can see why her third skill is so strong – she’s an amazing opener who, not only weakens the enemy team (granted, it doesn’t fully remove buffs), but also greatly increases the damage and survivability of her team, and even locks down an enemy unit thanks to being able to chain her s3 directly into s2.

The only problem is that Clilias can’t, for example, single-handedly solo an entire team the way Hwayoung can. However, she’s such a good enabler that she can easily open up her ally team to wreak absolute havoc on the enemies.

Where to Use Conqueror Lilias?

From my own personal experience, Conqueror Lilias can be used in general PvE areas- mind you, you shouldn’t use C.Lilias in anything Hunt specific. You can’t use her in, say, Wyvern 13. However, just general PvE content like Adventure mode, sidestories, and Automaton tower can work with her. I’ve also heard that she’s really good in the Hall of Trials, but I haven’t tested her too extensively there.

However, where she really shines is in PvP content. Arena, Guild Wars, and RTA alike; you can take Conqueror Lilias into pretty much any team and she’ll flow super well with the dynamics of the team, as long as she’s able to go first. That’s why so many people like her, because of just how versatile she is.

Builds

Similarly to Peira, there is only one real build that you can use with Conqueror Lilias.

Speed: The reason why I don’t put a two-set with this one is because pretty much any two set can work, as long as it has good speed substats. A broken set can work too, but I’ve seen a lot of people use Hit sets or Immunity on Conqueror Lilias. Her boots should definitely be Speed, and for her necklace and ring I’m thinking HP% and HP%/EFF%.

Anyway, for her goalpost stats, I’ve seen a lot of things thrown around, but this is generally accepted as the ideal Lilias:

  • 290+ Speed (300 and up is ideal)
  • 20,000+ HP
  • 1,400+ Defense
  • At least 60% Effectiveness

These are very lategame stats, of course, but that’s something for people to work towards.

Artifacts

There are pretty much only two artifacts that people widely use on her.

War Horn: War Horn is, by far, the best choice for Conqueror Lilias. For every three enemy turns, this artifact will be able to increase her Combat Readiness by 20% (at least, when it’s fully maxed out). Using War Horn on Conqueror Lilias will ensure that she will be able to cut in on enemies, and maybe even turn the tides of the battle with a well-placed S3.

Border Coin: Border Coin is one of the best choices to use on Conqueror Lilias. This is because two of her three skills are non-attack skills, which will trigger Border Coin to proc more and more of a Speed Increase on Lilias. Granted, the Attack boost might not be very useful on her, due to her being more of a supportive unit, but someone struggling on Speed might be able to get some use out of this.

…However, I play things a little differently. My Border Coin is on Inferno Khawazu, and I haven’t taken the plunge to buying War Horn yet. Instead, though, I’ve been using Creation & Destruction. It’s a bit of an unorthodox build, and it’s not an artifact I’d recommend to everyone. However, I just want to say that I’ve been having a bunch of fun with my C&D Conqueror Lilias, and I’ll honestly miss it when I switch to War Horn.

Should You Build Her?

Yes! If you’re looking to get into PvP, Conqueror Lilias will definitely be your best bet. She is so insanely strong; she has a very high first-pick rate in World Arena (last I looked, I think over 90% of people who played Conqueror Lilias made her their first pick), and if she can get past the banning stage, she will definitely work really well in the favor of her allies. Although she can’t really be used in PvE and has a pretty high gear requirement, she is more than worth it in the long run.

I hope this article helped you decide whether or not to use your Conqueror Lilias! Plus, if you already knew whether or not you wanted to use her, I hope this helped you to learn about her gear requirements and the ideal stats for her. I’m Sara Ann, and I’ll see you in the next article!
