[July 6th Patch] Ocean Breeze Luluca and Lethe (Coming Soon!)

We are getting 2 summer waifus, with Ocean Breeze Luluca being the first, and Lethe the second (July 20th). This is a pretty big patch and I am actually quite happy that we are not getting a re-run of older summer events.

Luluca and Violet originally planned to go on a vacation with Pavel and Cerise.

[Chapter Opening Schedule]

■ View Story 

– It costs 20 Energy to view the story, and you can receive rewards after viewing the story for the first time.
– The initial viewing rewards are only given once. Players can receive the rewards until 8/3 (Thu) 02:59 UTC, which is the scheduled end for the Side Story, “A Midsummer Paradise!”.

– All stages will proceed as NPC Battles and will not provide any stage clear reward.

[Event Battle Stage (Suspicious Hot Spring)]

– Viewing Act 8 of Chapter 1’s story will unlock the event battle stage, Suspicious Hot Spring.
– The event battle consists of 2 phases and can form a total of 2 teams (7 Heroes) on the Team Formation screen.
– Heroes deployed in the Keyslot are the main Heroes and will be automatically placed in both Team 1 and Team 2.

– It requires 30 Energy to enter the stage and players may select a higher difficulty after successfully clearing the one before it.

– As the difficulty progresses, the amount of Stigma, Gold, and event currency earned will increase.
– You can acquire a Level 85 Epic Equipment/ Accessory of the desired set from [Counter, Penetration, and Resist] as the battle stage rewards for weeks 1 and 2.

– By clearing stage 5, which can only be completed once during the event period, you can acquire exclusive stamps that can be used to decorate Profile Cards.

– By deploying Ocean Breeze Luluca to the team, you will be able to receive a powerful Lead Hero Enhancement Effect.
The effect gets stronger as Ocean Breeze Luluca’s Memory Imprint Level gets higher.

[Enhanced Artifacts]

■ Mileage Shop

– You can acquire Sparkling Sea Soda as an event battle stage reward and exchange them for souvenirs, illustrations, and Epic Equipment.

– The Exchange will remain open for 7 days after the Side Story ends.

[Souvenir Exchange]
– You can use Event Currency to exchange for random souvenirs.
– Souvenirs that have reached the maximum exchange limit will no longer be displayed.

– After receiving rewards for watching the final episode of Chapters 1 and 2, the exchangeable count for the Week 1 and Week 2 souvenir items will be increased.
– You can find more details about the maximum exchange limit and the list of souvenirs in the in-game information.

[Special Illustration Exchange]

– You can exchange event currency for a special illustration with unique effects that can be set as your Lobby background.

– The special illustration can be used in your profile card and Lobby. You can enjoy the voice lines and speech bubbles by tapping the screen when setting your Lobby background using the special illustration.

[Epic Equipment Exchange]

– You can acquire a Level 85 Epic Equipment/Accessory of the desired set from [Counter, Penetration, and Resist] by exchanging 400 event currency in weeks 1 and 2.
– There is no limit to the number of exchanges for Epic Equipment and the Equipment can be reforged the same as Hunt Equipment.
– Pieces and stats for the Equipment are randomly determined with the same drop rate.

– A special new event battle will be added that allows you to acquire a set from one of [Speed, Hit, and Torrent] in weeks 3 and 4.

■ Other

[Illustrations]

– You can acquire illustrations by watching certain stories.

– All the acquired illustrations including the special illustration will be added to [Journal > Illustration Journal > Side Story > A Midsummer Paradise!].

2. New Limited 5★ Hero, Ocean Breeze Luluca

A troublemaking part-timer who likes to wander along the sparkly beach! Players will be able to meet Ocean Breeze Luluca through the Limited Summon.

4. Equipment Reset System

You can reset the enhancement of your Equipment by using the reset item.

[How to reset your Equipment]

– You have the option to reset your level 85 and 90 Equipment that has been +3 enhanced or higher.

– Equipment with modified substats cannot be reset.

– Each piece of Equipment can only be reset five times and cannot be reset after it reaches the limit.

[Notice Regarding Equipment Enhancement Reset]

– Resetting the enhancement of equipped or locked Equipment will commence without any warning message or additional confirmation.

– You can check the remaining reset limit at the Steel Workshop.

– The Equipment Reset screen will have a recommended filter based on the initial Equipment Score.

– All materials used for enhancement and reforging (experience, gold, materials) will not be refunded.

– Resetting a Level 90 Equipment will also reset the added substats from reforging to their initial numbers.

5. Epic Pass, Radiant Sunlight 2023 Season

Epic Pass! Radiant Sunlight 2023 Season begins.

Unlike how she usually wears her hair, Celine has her hair up. Meet Celine in her new “Sparkling Summer” skin.

6. Two New Exclusive Equipment

New Exclusive Equipment for the 5★ Hero, Seaside Bellona, and the 4★ Hero, Tempest Surin will be added to the Hall of Trials Exchange.

Players can obtain Exclusive Equipment from the Hall of Trials Exchange using Wisdom’s Gaze.

The stats and skill effects of Exclusive Equipment will be applied randomly upon purchase.

7. World Arena Draft Mode

Draft Mode will be added to Mock Battle in World Arena.

Experience the Draft Mode and enjoy playing even without having any Heroes or Equipment.

[How to Play Draft Mode]

– Each player can select one of three randomly generated Heroes.
– All Heroes that appear in Draft Mode have the maximum level of Grade, Memory Imprint, Skill Enhancement, and Level.
– The stats, equipped Artifacts, and Exclusive Equipment of the Heroes are preset, allowing you to select and use them even if you don’t own them.

– After selecting 5 Heroes, each player will ban one Hero from the opponent’s team.
– Battle will commence once both players have deployed their Heroes.

– The Hero pool and their stats will be updated regularly.

※ The image is currently under development and Hero stats, Artifacts, and Exclusive Equipment will be determined based on World Arena information.

8. Ocean Breeze Luluca & Sole Consolation Limited Drop Rate Up

In this Limited Drop Rate Up event, meet the Earth Elemental Soul Weaver, Ocean Breeze Luluca, who gains Focus and increases Combat Readiness of the caster after an enemy uses a non-attack skill. Players can also obtain the Soul Weaver exclusive Artifact, Sole Consolation, which increases Effect Resistance and increases Combat Readiness of the caster after an enemy uses a non-attack skill.

9. Celine & Secret Art – Storm Sword Drop Rate Up

In this Drop Rate Up event, meet Celine, an Earth elemental Thief who attacks a random enemy when the enemy uses a non-attack skill. Players can also obtain the Thief exclusive Artifact, Secret Art – Storm Sword, which increases Combat Readiness of the caster and the caster’s Attack when an enemy uses a non-attack skill.

10. Other Improvements and Adjustments

■ Heroes

– Improvements will be made to display Skill Tree Enhancement Effect more clearly for the Heroes, Holy Flame Adin, Serene Purity Adin, Verdant Adin, and Savior Adin.
– Improvements will be made to 3★ Hero Eaton’s [Expressions] where multiple instances of the same expression were being displayed. Only the [Normal] expression will be displayed as intended after the update.

– An issue where the shadow near the eyes of the 5★ Hero Sharun was disappearing in her Expression, Special 3, will be fixed.

– An issue where some of the skill voice lines were awkward and played at a lower volume for the 5★ Moonlight Hero Mediator Kawrik’s Epic Skin, Mediator Kawerik: Co-Existing Disaster, will be fixed.
– An issue where it was possible to transmit the Hero, Free Spirit Tieria after reaching SSS in Tieria’s Memory Imprint will be fixed.

– An issue where 5★ Hero Ervalen’s face was not displayed in certain episode stories will be fixed.

– An issue where the glow of the eye on 5★ Hero Ludwig’s face in his expression, Special 1 disappeared will be fixed.
■Music Player

– Three new songs will be added.

■ Adventure and Story

– The rewards and Journal list for The Book of Memories, “Holy Order of the Blue Cross and the Mystery of the Treasure Island”, and “Song of the Sea” will be edited.

– Two illustrations for The Book of Memories, “Holy Order of the Blue Cross and the Mystery of the Treasure Island”, and “Song of the Sea” will be delivered to your mailbox after the maintenance. (Until 8/3 02:59 UTC)

■ Battle

– The missing part of the skill description for Expedition, “Abnormal Atmosphere”, will be added, and certain grammatically awkward parts will be edited for improved clarity.

– The skill descriptions for effects with undispellable and unique attributes will be updated to include “(Undispellable)” and “(Unique Effect)” descriptions, respectively.
– “Cannot be dispelled” and “Unaffected by any effects related to debuffs.” will be removed from the existing descriptions.

– The debuff, “Banshee Queen Curse” will be changed to decrease the number of turns from the turn start.
– An issue where the passive of certain Heroes that grants damage received limit did not trigger when inflicted with target debuff will be fixed.

– The word “Each” used in skill descriptions will be removed, as the skill effects and descriptions differ for certain Heroes. (Dizzy’s “I Used This to Catch Fish”, General Purrgis’s “Command to Charge”, Eaton’s “Come Here”)

– An issue where 5★ Hero Seaside Bellona’s skill, “I’m with My Friends” did not trigger when battling against certain Heroes will be fixed.

– An issue where increased effect chance from leveling up 4★ Hero Tempest Surin’s skill, Lunge was only applied to 1 bleed effect, will be fixed.

■ Other

– The Receive All button will be added to Reputaiton. The button cannot be used for Three Sisters’ Diary and Dagger Sicar.

– An issue where the adjusted Battle Speed was changed when moving to the next adventure after completing the initial Adventure battle will be fixed.
– The location and the size of the event badge displayed on the Covenant Summon during the Free Summon event will be adjusted.

– An issue where the NPC Famous’s face was not displayed in certain cut-scenes when tapping the first Lasting Effect of Memory Chain will be fixed.

– A pop-up message will be added to inform users that once the Equipment is modified, it cannot be reset when attempting to modify substats.

– An issue where the inventory pop-up message cannot be closed when extracting Equipment after acquiring it from the Inventory will be fixed.

– An issue where the number of completed missions (Acquired Stars) is not displayed upon clearing Abyss Challenge Mode on certain accounts, even after successfully completing the missions and receiving all rewards will be fixed.

– An issue where the Arena Highest Placement displayed on the profile differs from the actual Highest Placement when the player is currently in the progress of placement will be fixed.

– An issue where some of the texts for certain Nicknames that are not banned words were hidden in World Arena will be fixed.

– An issue where “Eliminate Boss Monster in Adventure” in the Weekly Guild Mission did not count when battling in Adventure with Background Battling will be fixed.

– An issue where the game client did not close immediately when the maintenance begins will be fixed.

– An issue where the background of the created Mock Battle room remained the same as the previously created Mock Battle room after battling once in the Mock Battle room with a custom background will be fixed.

– An issue where the location of the [Lock, Sell, and Extraction] icons differs on the pop-up screen when acquiring Equipment from Equipment Selection Chest and Crafting Equipment will be fixed.

– An issue where the text on the Exit button was displayed as “Back” after being defeated in battle will be fixed.

– The reset period for the Mystic Pack purchase limit will be changed from 1 week to 3 weeks.

– The condition to display the Equipment Enhance Support Pack will be changed to clearing any Hunt Level 6.

11. New Limited 5★ Hero, Lethe

New limited Hero, Lethe, who will appear in the Special Side Story, “A Midsummer Paradise,” will be available on 7/20.
