[8/31 Patch] Episode 5 Erasia, Veronica, Moonlight Theater, Roana and Krau Banner!

We are getting a huge patch update. A new continent to explore, new connection in Veronica who we can get after clearing episode 5, Chapter 3-5. Veronica will be added to the site shortly after. The re-run banners are Roana and Krau this week.

1. Episode 5 – In the Umbrae of Eternity 

After their clash with Emperor Zio, Ras and his friends learn of the existence of a dark, celestial being.

In order to recover his depleted vitality, Ras returns to Ritania and plans a visit to the World Tree.

Meanwhile, Ran and Amid discover the existence of another World Tree in Erasia—the Tree of Genesis—and embark on a new adventure.

■ Erasia Continent

– Episode 5’s new continent, Erasia is available.

– You can play from the Episode 5 tutorial and Chapter 1 to Chapter 4.

– In Erasia, regular stages and story stages will be available. In addition, a special challenge content, Tree of Genesis will also be available.

– Episode 5 does not have Exchange and thus AP will not be provided as stage clear rewards.

– 2★ Monsters will not be provided as stage clear rewards in Episode 5.

– The Urgent Missions received after clearing Chapters 1 to 4 in Episode 5 will be played in Episode 4 Areas.

– Region Info will not be provided in Episode 5.

■ Episode 5 Tutorial

– When entering Adventure after clearing the Path of the Savior in North Theranhad, the Episode 5 Erasia Continent Tutorial will begin.

 *You can enter the tutorial and Chapter 1-1. Stonesand Beach after clearing the Path of the Savior in North Theranhad.

■ The Tree of Genesis

– You can play through special challenges with NPC teams in two Tree of Genesis and acquire rewards.

ㄴShadow Elf’s Tree of Genesis will be unlocked after clearing Chapter 1-8. Crossroads of Pioneers.

ㄴVampire’s Tree of Genesis will be unlocked after clearing Chapter 3-8. Wolves’ Route.

■ Tree of Genesis: How to Enter

– You can enter the Tree of Genesis via the Episode 5 map.

– You can only enter the Shadow Elf’s Tree of Genesis in chapters 1 and 2.

– You can only enter the Vampire’s Tree of Genesis in chapters 3 and 4.

– You can move to the most recently visited Tree of Genesis from the Episode 5 World Map.

■ Tree of Genesis: Battle

– The Tree of Genesis stages do not require Energy to enter, but also provide no clear rewards (EXP, Gold, items, etc.) other than the stage mission rewards.

– Players will not be able to use Auto-battle to clear the Tree of Genesis stages.

■ Story Journal

– The unlocked Chapters 1-4 will be added to [Story Journal > Episode 5] and Background Pack rewards will be provided per chapter.

■ Illustrations

Illustrations will be unlocked after clearing certain stages while playing through the story from Chapters 1-7.

– New monsters will be added.

2. New Connection Hero, Veronica

As the eldest daughter of a powerful, noble Human family in Central Erasia, Veronica joined the Slayers, abiding by her family’s creed to hunt Vampires, and became captain at a very young age.

Players can meet the new 4★ Hero, Veronica via Connection Mission which is unlocked after clearing Episode 5, Chapter 3-5. Pioneer Fortress.

3. Moonlight’s Blessing – Fallen Land

Seven 5★ Moonlight Heroes will appear in Moonlight Theater – Fallen Land!

Moonlight’s Blessing – Fallen Land, which allows you to choose a Hero and embark on an adventure, will be available.

– Read the last story of Moonlight Theater Fallen Land Season 2

■ How to Obtain a Hero

– Select one of seven 5★ Moonlight Heroes to add as a Hero which will then be added to your list of Heroes.

– Heroes that players obtain from Moonlight’s Blessing will initially be restricted from certain game modes.

– Players can lift these restrictions from their Hero by completing the given missions.

– If you already own the Hero, once you’ve fully unlocked them by completing the required missions, you will also receive 10 Galaxy Coins.

[Initial Restrictions on Moonlight’s Blessing Heroes]

① Growth: Unable to Awaken to 5★ and 6★, unable to promote from 5★ to 6★, unable to enhance skills

② Battle: Unable to participate in defense teams in Arena, Guild Wars, and cannot be used in the World Arena. Unable to be used as a Supporter in normal battles and World Boss battles

③ Other: Unable to be set as a Rep Hero, unable to be transmitted, moved to Waiting Room, Memory Imprinted, added to the Journal, assigned to Dispatch Missions, gift Friendship items, use Hero Ratings

※ While under these restrictions, summoned Heroes of the same kind or Unknown Slates from the Shop cannot be used on Moonlight’s Blessing Heroes.

※ While under these restrictions, Moonlight’s Blessing Heroes cannot be used for enhancing, promoting, or Memory Imprinting other Heroes.

※ Potion of Ascension cannot be used on Moonlight’s Blessing Heroes before completing the 6★ Promotion quest.

[Restriction Removal Missions]

※ Completing all the above missions will remove all other restrictions and allow the player to fully obtain the Hero.

■ Reset Moonlight’s Blessing

– Players can change the Hero among the seven Moonlight’s Blessing Heroes only once before completing all missions.

– Upon changing the Hero, the player will lose the previously selected Hero. Any Equipment, Exclusive Equipment, and Artifacts equipped on the Hero will be returned to the Inventory.

– Materials and currency used to enhance the Hero will be returned.

ㄴ Potions of Ascension will be given to compensate for materials used to enhance the Hero

ㄴ EXP, Awakening materials, Skill Enhancement materials, and Gold will be returned.

– The progress of missions you’ve already begun will remain the same.

– Players cannot change the Hero after they have fully obtained the Hero by completing all the missions.

■ Distorted Origin

– The second episode of Moonlight Theater is called “Distorted Origins”, and is staged in Zero-Defects City.

– It consists of 6 acts in total and you can play normal battle stages and story stages.

– All stages in Moonlight Theater will proceed as NPC Battles and will not provide any stage clear reward.

– After watching Season 1, the first act of Season 2 will be available for free, and watching the next act immediately after will cost Theater Tickets.

5. Artifact Recall

The recall of the 5★ Artifact, Black Hand of the Goddess, will be carried out after the issue regarding the Artifact is resolved.

[Recall Target]

– The 5★ Artifact, Black Hand of the Goddess, that has been enhanced prior to the 8/31 (Thu) maintenance will be eligible for recall.

[How to Recall]

1) Select the Artifact you want to recall from the Artifact Inventory and tap the Recall button.

2) When you tap Recall, the materials you will be given if you proceed with the recall will be displayed. Tap [Recall] to proceed with the recall.

– Once the Recall is completed you will not be able to reverse it.

[Recall Conditions]

– Artifacts eligible for recall that meet the minimum recall condition of 1,800 EXP for Artifact Charm can be recalled an unlimited number of times during the recall period.

※ Artifacts that are Limit Broken at least once can be recalled regardless of the EXP.

※ The requirements for achieving a cumulative Artifact Enhance EXP of 1,800 are listed below.

[Recall Scope and Reimbursement]

– 5★ Black Hand of the Goddess

① All enhancements for this Artifact will reset when recalled.

② Lesser/Greater/Epic Artifact Charms will be reimbursed based on the EXP of the Artifact.

③ The reimbursed Gold will be calculated as the Gold that would be consumed by the reimbursed Artifact charms.

④ The number of Artifacts reimbursed will be based on the Limit Break.

6. Equipment Enhance Improvements

Improvements will be made to the system so that players are able to acquire both Gold and Equipment Enhance materials when selling Equipment. You can now easily enhance Equipment on the improved UI!

■ Enhancement Powder

– When selling Equipment, players can now acquire Enhancement Powder that matches the Equipment type along with Gold.

*The amount of Gold acquired is the same as before.

– Players will no longer be able to use Equipment as material to enhance Equipment after the system improvement is implemented.

– The amount of Enhancement Powder acquired differs according to the level and the accumulated EXP of the Equipment sold.

– Enhancement Powder will be stored in [Inventory > Enhancement Ingredients] and Enhancement Powder that matches the Equipment type will be used to enhance Equipment.

– The amount of Gold required to enhance Equipment using Enhancement Powder follows the same standard as using Equipment as materials to enhance Equipment.

■ Equipment Enhancement UI Improvements

– Only the Enhancement material will be displayed on the Enhance Equipment screen.

– When enhancing Equipment to a certain level, the condition required for added stats will be displayed.

■ Selling Equipment & Extraction UI Improvements

– Improvements will be made to display the materials acquired when selling or extracting Equipment.

– When tapping the [Confirm] or the [Extract] button, the Equipment will be sold or extracted.

■ Equipment Enhancement Help Menu Improvements

– Descriptions and images on the [Help] menu will be updated to reflect the changed information.

7. Side Story, A Letter from the Heart

[Puzzle Missions]

– Puzzle missions are assigned randomly and missions that have not yet been completed can be changed.

– The first 10 mission changes are free. Following that, the cost to change the mission increases with each additional change. Rewards do not change when the mission goal is changed.

– Players can undertake 3 missions at the same time and can view the missions on a list located on the right side of the screen.

[Story Progress]

– Once you remove a certain number of pieces, an event button will activate based on your level of progress.

– Each event button is connected to a story or stage.

– Players can view stories they have already seen including the prologue.

[Illustration]

– When a player obtains a reward for a mission, the puzzle piece will disappear and will be replaced with an illustration silhouette.

– When a player completes 100% of the album, the silhouette will disappear and the illustration will be unlocked, along with added effects to the illustration.

– The illustration obtained will be added to [Journal > Illustration Journal > Other > Contest].

New decorations for profile cards will be added to celebrate the Ezeran Foundation Day.

Decorate your profile card using 103 cute SD Hero stickers and decorative backgrounds created in celebration of the Ezeran Foundation Day!

■ SD Hero Stickers

– The Profile Card Diagram editing screen will be improved and 103 SD Hero stickers will be added to the Edit Profile Card menu.

– The maximum number of layers for the Profile Card will beincreased from 80 to 100.

– The newly added SD Hero stickers can be purchased using Skystone and can be used without any time limit.

– Duplicate SD Hero stickers cannot be placed. (However, a Hero and that Hero’s SD sticker can be placed together.)

■ Profile Card Background

– Log into Epic Seven during the distribution period and receive the “Ezeran Foundation Day Celebration Chest.” (Storage Period: 7 Days)

– Receive the “Ezeran Foundation Day Celebration Chest” and the new backgrounds will be added to the profile card background list.

9. Two New Exclusive Equipment

– New Exclusive Equipment for the 5★ Hero, Lilias, and the 4★ Hero, Challenger Dominiel will be added to the Hall of Trials Exchange.

Players can obtain Exclusive Equipment from the Hall of Trials Exchange using Wisdom’s Gaze.

The stats and skill effects of Exclusive Equipment will be applied randomly upon purchase.

11. Roana & Touch of Rekos Drop Rate Up!

In this Drop Rate Up event, meet Roana, an Earth Elemental Soul Weaver who is able to contain Heroes that specialize in extra attacks, counterattacks and Dual Attacks thanks to her unique ability which allows allies to be healed after they are attacked by an extra attack, counterattack, or Dual Attack.

Players can also obtain the Soul Weaver exclusive Artifact, Touch of Rekos, which restores the health of all allies after being attacked.

12. Krau & Holy Sacrifice Drop Rate Up

In this Drop Rate Up event, meet Krau, an Ice Elemental Knight who is able to contain his enemies with his high Health as well as protect his allies.

Players can also obtain the Knight-exclusive Artifact, Holy Sacrifice which, after the caster receives lethal damage, has a chance to revive the caster and grant a barrier.

13. Coin Shop Item List Renewal

The purchase limit for items in the Covenant and Galaxy Coin Shops will reset and there will be a rotation of the Heroes sold in each shop. The Coin Shop resets on the first of every month at 03:00 UTC.

– An issue where the skill description for the 5★ Hero, Jack-O’s Skill 2 displays Combat Readiness into decimal points will be fixed. No functional changes will be made.

– An issue where the Burn effect related to detonate was not highlighted in white on skill descriptions for the 5★ Hero Aramintha and 4★ Hero Inferno Khawazu will be fixed.

– An issue where the Injury effect related to additional damage equivalent to the injuries inflicted was not highlighted in white on skill descriptions for 5★ Hero Ilynav will be fixed.

– An issue where the Hero effect image was not displayed correctly when selecting the 5★ Hero Ludwig in World Arena or when enhancing his skills will be fixed.

■ Adventure and Story

– The narrative directions for some stories in Zero-Defects City Season 1 Act 6 and 7 will be changed.

– The relationship for 5★ Hero, Melissa will be updated as you progress through the story.

– An issue where the BGM does not change when moving to Episodes via Episode Selection Menu in Adventure will be fixed.

■ Battle

– An intermittent issue where certain texts were not displayed properly when using additional skills that have Cooldown will be fixed.

■ Music Player

– 11 new songs will be added.

– Eligos’s theme song, “It’s Nothing Personal” will be moved from [Various Songs] album to [Episode 5: In the Umbrae of Eternity] album.

■ Other

– An issue where the afterimages of skill icons are displayed when using a filter on the Exclusive Equipment screen in the Hero screen will be fixed.

– An issue where the minimap position shifts to the left when the screen is rotated on a device with a notch design (punch hole display) will be fixed.
– An issue where the back button texts are incorrectly displayed when entering the Exclusive Equipment screen on a device with a notch design (punch hole display) will be fixed.

– An issue where certain layers are exposed out of the background when setting a specific illustration as a profile card background will be fixed.

– An issue where the Search Friends screen would not display properly when using a pop-up or split screen on AOS devices will be fixed.

– An issue where the amount of slate owned is fixed at 0 in the item selection screen within the Collaboration Special Pack Selection Chest will be fixed.

– An issue where players were unable to preview the skills of temporary Heroes on Moonlight’s Blessing quests will be fixed.

– An issue where the first screen of Connection is fixed as Free Spirit Tieria when entering the Connection screen after setting Lobby with Hero or Illustration will be fixed.
