Briar Witch Iseria who was first presented to our Heirs in last week’s Livestream is finally here!

Players can now meet the girl who was once a noble!

 

3★ Hero Pearlhorizon Specialty Change!

Pearlhorizon who has now turned into a doll maker will be revealed.
This week is the last week of the special side story, The Holy Order of the Blue Cross and the Mysterious Island. We will also restructure the Friendship system and give you details about the end of the Guild War Challenge Season. 

 

Let’s begin by looking at the Hero balance adjustments.

1. Hero Balance Adjustments

Certain Heroes will have a balance adjustment applied! Create new strategies with these Heroes!

※ The probability and Cooldown values are based on the maximum skill enhancement available.
※ Skills that do not specify a Cooldown adjustment will maintain the same Cooldown period as before.

■ Melissa (5, Fire, Mage) 

– The Soulburn effect for the skill, Might will be removed.

– The effect for Blood Bloom (Awakened) will be changed and a Soulburn effect will be added.

■ Baal & Sezan (5, Fire, Mage)

– The effect for Ghost Haunt will be changed.

– The skill cooldown for Dark Cloud will be changed.

■ Aramintha (5, Fire, Mage) 

– The effect for Catalyst will be changed and the Damage inflicted by this skill will be increased.

■ Roaming Warrior Leo (4, Dark, Ranger) 

– The effect for Fire Shockbomb will be changed.

– The effect for Go, Racoo! Will be changed.

■ Benevolent Romann (4, Light, Mage) 

– The effect for Mana Arrow will be changed and the Soulburn effect removed.

– The effect for Mana Fundamentals will be changed and the Soulburn effect added.

■ Pyllis (3, Dark, Knight) 

– The proportional damage dealt by Weakening Blow will be increased and the effect will be changed.

– The effect for ‘Will’ will be changed and Damage Increase will be increased.

– The effect for Guard will be changed.

■ Azalea (3, Fire, Warrior) 

– The effect for Sweep will be changed and Damage dealt will be increased.

■ Adlay (3, Earth, Mage)

– The effect for Mana Seal will be changed.

■ Chaos Inquisitor (3, Fire, Knight)

– Certain Rune effects for this Skill Tree will be changed.

■ Acquired Souls Improvements 

– Improvements will be made so that Heroes can acquire Souls even when Soulburn skills are used.

– Adjustments will be made to the skills of certain Heroes who could not acquire Souls when an additional attack is triggered.

Hero Adjustment Details
Bellona An issue where Souls were not acquired when Windbreak Fan is triggered after gaining 5 Focus.
Sol An issue where the number of Souls acquired from Volcanic Viper differed depending on whether it triggered from an enemy’s non-attack skill or if Sol was attacked by a Boss or Elite monster.
Hataan An issue where Souls are not obtained when after an enemy is defeated by the skill Wind Pressure.

 

■ Additional Skill Description Improvements

– Improvements will be made so that we provide players with more accurate information in the skill description for certain Heroes.

■ Skill Bug Fixes

– An issue where for some Heroes and Artifacts, unlike what was stated in their skill descriptions, ignored the target’s Effect Resistance will be fixed.

– Following these fixes, the performance of the Heroes and Artifact mentioned below will decrease. Therefore, we plan to proceed with a recall for these Heroes and Artifact as stated in section 7 of this notice.

Champion Zerato There was an issue that caused the target’s Effect Resistance to be ignored when the skill, Earthen Rage is used. This issue will be fixed.
Carrot & Researcher Carrot There was an issue where Burn debuff ignored the target’s Effect Resistance when the skill, Flame Barrier was triggered. This issue will be fixed.
Mascot hazel There was an issue where the amount that Urgent Regen increases by in the Harvest Rune effects for certain languages was incorrectly displayed. This issue will be fixed.

– Affected languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai

Sven There was an issue where for Capital Punishment, the damage dealt in proportion to the target was incorrectly displayed.

– Affected languages: English, German, Portuguese, Thai

Alsacian Spear There was an issue where the target’s Effect Resistance was ignored when the Artifact is triggered.  This issue will be fixed.

2. Special Side Story – The Holy Order of the Blue Cross and the Mysterious Island (Week 3) 
 

Yufine and the Holy Order of the Blue Cross head to the Mysterious Island for an exciting vacation. The hidden of the darkness has now come to light. The Heroes face danger, unknown evil beings and a secret hidden for years is about to be unearthed…

The last week of this three-week special side story that will blow the midsummer heat away begins now!

– Players can remove puzzle pieces using event currency earned from clearing stages from Chapter 3.

– Remove album fragments will be available for an additional seven days after the end of the story period and will no longer be available after the period.

[Treasure Stage]

– Once the Week 3 album has been cleared 100%, this boss stage will be available.
– During the event period, this stage may only be cleared once.
– The Treasure Stages are not included in the list of Reputations, so players will be able to receive the All Clear reward even if they do not clear this stage.


[Stage Difficulty]
– Each chapter in the side story will have a stage where the Boss appears that is comprised of various difficulties.
– Players may select a higher difficulty after successfully clearing the one before it.

[MolaGora Challenge]
– The MolaGora Challenge stage will be available in week 3 of this special side story.
– Players can clear this stage once during the event period.

[Exchange]

– Players will be able to exchange event currency for Gold.
– Players will be able to exchange event currency for items up to one week after the Side Story ends.

3. New 5 Hero – Briar Witch Iseria
 

Once one of the noblest knights in the kingdom, she was on a hunt to find the Dark Witch when she was cursed by the witch. Briar Witch Iseria is a Dark elemental ranger who can inflict debuffs and deal additional damage. Players can obtain her from Mystic, Moonlight, and Covenant summons.

4. Specialty Change – Doll Maker Pearlhorizon

Players will be able to Specialty Change the 3★ Hero Pearlhorizon into Doll Maker Pearlhorizon!

After completing the Specialty Change, Pearlhorizon will be granted a new sprite, new skills, and new animations!

Additional stat changes and skill enhancements can be made via the Skill Tree.

The following conditions have to be met before beginning the Specialty Change quests.

1. Have Pearlhorizon Lv. 50

 

■ How to Complete a Specialty Change 

– From the Lobby, go to the Hero menu > Specialty Change.

– Once all 3 Specialty Change Quests have been cleared and the Trial Battle has been successfully completed, the Specialty Change will be complete.

– After completing a Specialty Change, the Hero’s appearance and skills will change, and the Hero cannot be reverted to their previous state.

■ Skill Tree 

After a Specialty Change, the Skill Tree can be accessed via the Awakening menu.
Use Elemental Runes to enhance the Runes in the Skill Tree and make your Hero stronger!

[Rune Enhancement Results] 

The rune enhancement effects are according to the maximum enhancement standard.

* Health Rune – Increases Health by 20%

* Obscurity Rune – Increases Effectiveness by 15%

* Achievement Rune – Increases Effectiveness of all allies by 5%

* Mineral Rune – When attacked, has a 20% chance to decrease damage received by -30%.

When more than one damage reduction effect is granted, only the strongest effect is applied.

* Fruition Rune – Increases Hypnosis’s sleep effect chance by 30%

* Harvest Rune – Increases the caster’s Combat Readiness when using Hypnosis by 30%

* Speed Rune – Increases the chance to decrease the speed of the enemy for 2 turns when using Hypnosis by 50%

* Disease Rune – Increases the chance to extend the duration of sleep to 2 turns by 20%

* Courage Rune – ‘Increases Chaos Strike’s decrease Hit Chance effect by 5%

* Solitude Rune – Increases the chance to decrease Hypnosis’s cooldown by 1 turn when using Endless Nightmare by 30%

5. Guild War Challenge Season Closing

The war for the strongest Guilds! The Challenge Season is coming to an end.

■ Guild War Challenge Season End & Pre-season Starting Information 


※ The planned dates are subject to change.
※ The closing schedule for Guild War Pre-season and the start date for Guild War Endeavor Season will be provided at a later date.

■ Pre-Season Schedule Information 

– The same rewards as the regular season will be granted for Success/Failure/Draws for the Pre-Season of Guild War.

– Items sold during the Guild War Challenge Season will be available for purchase during the Pre-Season.

– We will make improvements to the draw feature that will be applied from this Pre-season to the next regular season, Endeavor Season.

1. Draw Feature Improvements

* Improvements will be made so that the round results affect the Health of the Building.

* Adjustments will be made to the Damage dealt to a building according to a rounds victory or defeat.

* Havoc that can be acquired cannot be more than the remaining Health of the building.

3. Other

* Improvements will be made so that the guild members assigned to buildings in the last guild War are displayed when any Guild member accesses the Guild War screen.

* Improvements will be made so that a disbanded Guild does not affect the rankings.

* Improvements will be made so that once matched, the same Guilds will not be matched for at least the next two guild wars.

 

6. Cermia & Border Coin Drop Rate Up 
 

In this Drop Rate Up event, meet Cermia, the Fire elemental Warrior who can contain the enemy through a devastating single attack and the Warrior exclusive Artifact, Border Coin that can increase the caster’s Attack when using a non-attack skill.

7. Friendship Improvements and Skill Point Update

Improvements will be made to the Hero Friendship system.

The areas that you can improve Friendship will be increased and once you reach Friendship level 10 with a Hero, you will be awarded Skill Points. Enhance your Hero with their Skill Points!

■ Skill Point Details
 

– Skill Points will be given to Heroes who satisfy the Friendship level condition and cannot be checked in the inventory.

– 1 Skill Point is equal to 1 MolaGora.

■ Acquire Skill Points

– After a 4★ or higher starting grade Hero reaches Friendship level 10, players can obtain 3 skill points for a Hero when they enter the skill enhance screen for that Hero.

– If you attain Friendship level 10 with a Hero, and if that Hero’s skill enhance is max, then the remaining skill points will be given as MolaGora.

■ Friendship Expansion 

– Previously, players could only obtain Friendship points from Labyrinth Camping, Adventure, Hunt, and other PVE content. Following this restructuring, players will also be able to obtain Friendship points from certain PVP content.

– Players will not be able to increase their Friendship level from World Arena

■ Other

– The UI will be restructured so that a pop-up with level information is displayed when you tap the [] button next to the Friendship level.

– [MolaGoraGo] that was used to enhance skills will be converted to 4 [MolaGora].

– Adjustments have been made so that MolaGoraGo is exchanged to MolaGora when you tap the [Skill Enhance > Exchange MolaGora].

– If you recall a covenant Hero with Friendship level 10, Skill Points will be reimbursed to that Hero and the Friendship level will not reset. However, when you recall a Moonlight Hero, if you select the same Hero using the 4★/5★ Hero selector the Friendship level will reset and Skill Points will not be reimbursed.

8. Hero and Artifact Recall 

Bug fixes for certain Heroes will be implemented with the 8/6 Balance Adjustments. Following these fixes, the performance of these Heroes and Artifact will decrease. Therefore, we plan to proceed with a recall for these Heroes and Artifact.

How to Recall Normal Heroes

1. Go to the Hero Details of the hero you wish to recall and tap the Recall button.

2. When you tap Recall, a list of all materials that will be returned will display. Here, if you decide you want to proceed, tap Recall.

3. One more confirmation screen will appear. Select Confirm if you are certain you would like to recall the Hero. Please note that you cannot undo a recall.

[4★ Champion Zerato Hero Recall Information]

1. Go to the Hero Details of the hero you wish to recall and tap the Recall button.

2. When you tap Recall, a list of all materials that will be returned will display. Here, if you decide you want to proceed, tap Recall.

3. You will be able to select the same level of Moonlight Hero from the list of available Heroes on the right side.
– If you select [Do not display duplicates] then only Moonlight Heroes which you have not yet obtained will be displayed.
– If you proceed with this recall, it cannot be reversed.

– These Penguins cannot be used in conjunction with other materials to Enhance a Hero.

– Shadow Hero Penguins and White Knight Penguins can be used at the same time.

2. Grade

– Phantasma and Gold will be issued according to the Hero’s current star grade at the time of Recall.

– The Phantasma that are provided via recall will be one grade higher than their natural Grade.

(Mega-Phantasma: 3 ★, Giga Phantasma: 4★, Tera Phantasma: 5★)

3. Awakening

– Runes and Catalysts will be reissued according to the amount used for Awakening.

4.  Skill Enhance

– All MolaGora, Catalysts, and Gold will be reissued according to the amounts used for Skill Enhancement as listed in-game.

– Friendship Level 10 “Champion Zerato” Skill Points reimbursement
– Max 3 MolaGora may be deducted and refunded when recalling according to the acquisition/usage of Skill Points.

 

5. Memory Imprint  

– For 4★ Champion Zerato, players will receive Meteorshards equivalent to their Memory Imprint Grade.
– For natural 3★ Heroes, players will receive copies of that Hero equivalent to their Memory Imprint Grade.

6. Ego Fragment

– Ego Fragment will be reimbursed if Imprint Concentration has been unlocked.

7. Friendship

– The Friendship level for 4★ Champion Zerato will be reset when recalled even if he is exchanged for the same Hero.

– The Friendship level for the 3★ Carrot and Researcher Carrot will not reset.

■ 3 Artifact Alsacian Spear Recall 

[How to Recall]

1. Select the artifact you want to recall from the Artifact Inventory and click the Recall button.

2. When you tap Recall, a list of all materials that will be returned will display. Here, if you decide you want to proceed, tap Recall.

[Recall Details]

– All enhancements for this Artifact will reset when recalled.

– Epic/Greater/Lesser Artifact Charms will be reimbursed based on the EXP of the Artifact.

– The reimbursed Gold will be calculated as the Gold that would be consumed by the reimbursed Artifact charms.

– The number of Artifacts reimbursed will be based on the Limit Break. (5 Artifacts for max. level 30)

9. Other improvements and Bug Fixes

■ Heroes and Artifacts

– 3★ Hero, Pearlhorizon’s skill, Nightmare’s additional damage effect will be adjusted to be displayed after the turn ends. There are no functional changes

– 3★ Hero, Pearlhorizon’s skill, Hypnosis’s description will be changed. There are no functional changes

Current All enemies have a 35% chance to be put to sleep for 1 turn.
Expected Attacks all enemies, with a 35% chance to put them to sleep for 1 turn.

– Pearlhorizon’s AI will be changed as following when Auto Battle.
* She will use Hypnosis first.
* She will target a sleeping enemy first when using Nightmare.

– Unnecessary text appearing for the 3★ Hero Mirsa, when the battle starts, will be fixed.
– An issue where 5★ Artifact Alabastron is not applied to resurrected Heroes, will be fixed.
– Some of the skill descriptions will be changes as follows. There are no functional changes.

3★ Mascot Hazel Harvest Rune An issue where there is an incorrect description of the harvest rune’s effect, healing amount you get from  Urgent Regen, will be fixed
Sven Capital Punishment An issue where this skill dealt damage proportional to the enemy’s lost health rather than the caster’s lost health will be fixed.

■ Monster

– The skill description of the Hall of Trials boss, Zeno’s skill “Black Thorn”, will be adjusted to match its actual effect. There are no functional changes.
– The description for the Raid Labyrinth Azmakalis boss, Secretary Vera’s skill “Incubate Egg” will be adjusted to match its actual effect. There are no functional changes.
-An issue where Raid Labyrinth Azmakalis boss, Karkanis’s evasion effect of Inner Peace skill is activated even to skills that first dispel debuff, will be fixed.

■ Adventure and Story
– Stories of Episode 2, Chapter 7s, Stage 1 and 2 will be fixed.
– The following stories will be added to [Journal > Story Journal > Hero Stories].
* Lilibet’s story, A Piece of the Past
* Pavel’s story, Two Wolves

■ Battle
– Spirit Altar from the “Battle” tab will be displayed according to its actual order
 Current: Fire / Ice / Earth / Light / Dark
 Expected: Dark / Fire / Ice / Earth / Light
– An issue where the UI disappear from the result page after clearing Expedition or Hall of Trials will be fixed.
– An issue where the Expedition level displays as Level 3 from the recruiting step when Repeat Battling, will be fixed.

■ Others

– An improvement will be made not to display the “Enter” button of locked contents.
– It will appear as the content unlocks.

– The “Disable Lobby Viewing Mode” option will be added on [Game Settings > Settings > Game Settings]. Lobby UI will not disappear if you check this option.

– An improvement will be made to show all filter settings if you uncheck [ALL] from the filter settings.

– [Locked Heroes Only] setting will be added to the filter settings and [Hide Ingredients] will be deleted.

– The Arena Weekly Ranking reward pop-up will be improved to display the amount of each item you currently have.
*Additionally, if the player long-holds on a reward, an improvement has been made to display the description of that item.
– The screen where you can see the CP of your supporters will be improved. [Guild à World Boss à Select Supporters]
– An issue in the World Arena, where when upon making a Mock Battle Room, after changing the room information by selecting the text box to enter a password, even upon tapping something, the notification did not disappear will be fixed.

– The amount of time before a time-limited item is removed from the Shop will be displayed in the product list.
– The Account Level requirements to purchase the Equipment Booster Pack will be lowered from Account Level 41 to Account Level 20.
– When purchasing Energy, the pop-up that occurs will be improved to display additional information.
– An issue where tapping “ESC” in the lobby on a Bluetooth keyboard displayed an error message will be fixed.
– An issue, where under certain conditions, the description for certain Exclusive Equipment displayed in the incorrect area will be fixed.
– Improvements will be made to intermittent connection issues when playing on WiFi in the World Arena.
– An issue where, on the Connection Hero screen, after tapping the Hero Rating button, the back button did not work as intended will be fixed.
