Baiken is a hybrid attacker. She has a skill kit that can provide combat readiness push for the team, apply bleeds and also deal some single target damage. She has decent base stats and can be utilised in the following ways:
-Speed utility sub damage dealer and combat readiness pusher for speed PvP team
-Single target nuker in Banshee, Golem and PvP via bleed and detonate
-Single target nuker with high crit rate and crit damage (much like Karin) with bleed debuff as a bonus
The issue is that it requires very high gear quality to be able to use her entire skill set to maximum effect. For being an arena speed team as the first to move, she needs speed, 100% crit rate, high attack, critical damage and effectiveness. If she lacks attack or critical damage, her DPS will suffer. If her effectiveness is low, she will miss her bleeds and her detonate damage won’t do enough damage. If you focus on her attack stats, you might not get enough speed stats to move first.
That makes her not as effective, especially for new players since the same investment on say Karin would be much better in terms of damage output early game. New players don’t have the resources to get her 100% crit rate without sacrificing her other stats early on.
However, her late game potential is really strong once you can gear her well. Therefore, it is suggested to build her later on when you have enough gear to get her to high enough stats.

Even though Arbiter Vildred was recently nerfed, he is still able to confidently cleave through stall teams. Iseria + Tam allows Vildred to focus on pure damage build without relying on an immunity set thanks for Tam’s teamwide cleanse. Tam’s CR boost allows for dps boost instead of speed boots. Atk/Crit/Speed focus baiken will allow Tamarinne to go twice.
Arena Level: Champion
This comp is great at dismantling Dizzy and ML Baal comps. Aux Lots needs to be at least 230+ speed for it to be viable in Champion. Jecht is there for the speed imprint. Challenger Dominiel can dish out good single target damage. Baiken is there to 1 shot Dizzy or any DPS.
With C Dom, you can afford to have the DPS that goes after her to have only 50% critical rate due to her S2 passive.
